The Global Alliance of Marketing and
Management Associations is pleased to announce the 2016 BIG DATA
MARKETING Symposium on ¡°New Marketing Trends Driven by Big Data¡± to be
held at the 2016 Global Marketing Conference in Hong Kong. We are interested in
providing opportunities to share successful cases, big data solutions, research
findings and conceptual papers that explore and investigate issues related to
big data.
Big data has become one of the hottest
topics in every industry over the last five years. As almost every part of our
life has been more digitalized and IoT chips have been implanted into more and
more things we used every day, more and more unplanned and atypical data have
been available to marketing researchers. The purpose of
this GAMMA Symposium is to provide a venue for not only academic
researchers but also industry experts to get together and share their advanced knowledge
and experience regarding what type of data is available and what we can do with
those data.
Through a series of scholarly paper
presentations and industry cases, the Symposium participants will be exposed to
fresh and unique research topics and have a chance to understand the frontier
trends in this area. Topics will include successful cases of big data-based
marketing, text-mining related research, IoT-driven topics, and so on.
